A life coach focuses on 'coming along side' another as a fellow traveler on the journey of life. We are all called to help others grow to become "like Christ." A life coach is trained to help you understand and fulfill your unique gifting and calling by God, including growing into the image of Christ. We emphasize the three ingredients of spiritual and character growth found in the Bible in John 1:14:

Mike has been married to his wife Lori for over twenty-three years. They have four children, Nathan (21), Rachel (19), Rebecca (16), and Andrew (13). Mike’s early ministry experience for over twenty-five years was spent with Campus Crusade for Christ, specialized in recruiting and coaching prospective missionaries for service overseas and in the US.

With this vast experience to draw from, Mike is now coaching Christians in all walks of life to help them grow in Christ and follow God’s call in their life. Mike’s vision is to see the church be a place where personal transformation takes place. To do that, Mike is committed to raising up coaches in every church and Christian organization to reach and make disciples in this generation.

In addition, to Ministry and Executive coaching Mike serves with Life Builders, a discipleship ministry of Campus Crusade for Christ. Mike uses a mentorship style of discipling men. As he and Lori build others up in their relationships with Christ, they also show them how to share Christ’s message and lead others to Christ. Mike is also available as a seminar speaker to help your church or ministry build multiply ministry coaches and develop an evangelism and discipleship ministry.

Bob Lury

Personal Life Coach

Bob came to know Christ in 1979 while serving overseas in Turkey. Bob met his wife Cindy just before becoming discharged from his military service with the United States Coast Guard and while Cindy was pursuing her career. A year later in 1981 they married and Bob continued his education and work in Management Information Systems while Cindy continued in business and education.

After several years raising his three children Tessa, Kara, and Robert with his precious wife, he became active with youth ministry both in the church and the community. In 1991 Bob and Cindy attended a Family Life Conference sponsored by Campus Crusade for Christ, which led them to serving there for eight wonderful years. During that time they worked with high school students and urban city ministries reaching out to homes, churches and communities through evangelism and discipleship.

It is through these experiences that Bob saw how fragmented and broken families and individuals are in our society today. Bob’s heart was broken by the things that break God’s heart. This lead Bob to the vision of urgently mobilizing laborers for God's harvest field! Bob does this by helping build up the body of Christ one person at a time.

As a life coach, Bob is unique. Bob has a heart of compassion for hurting, broken people, which makes meeting with Bob a naturally safe place to be. He also has a ‘Barnabus spirit’ and as a personal life coach Bob will truly “come along side” to help you discover and become all God is calling you to be.
